This textile was woven by a Guatemalan artisan in the style of the classic stripe from the lakeside village of Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. It was woven using a back-strap loom, a time honored method of weaving. This traditional pattern represents Santiago Atitlan’s woven stripe, in a natural, hand-dyed Indigo.
